Assisting the IDF from Abroad
20 July 2006Some people sit and watch the current Middle East situation, and wish there was something they could do to help from outside of Israel. Well, there is. In case you didn’t know, there is an organization in Israel that will take your “donations” and use them to serve soldiers in the Israel Defence Forces a hot, tasty meal. Want to help? If so, go to PizzaIDF to give the soldiers a dairy meal (including Pizza and soda, with options of cold fruit soup and ice cream) or go to BurgerIDF to give soldiers a meat meal (including burgers and soda, with an option of soup).
I urge you to open up your wallets and support the Israel Defence Forces, who are fighting for all of Israel and are doing a great job. If you’re generous enough to give a donation of $250 or more (a dairy meal for 90 soldiers or a meat meal for 60 soldiers), you will get a receipt for IRS tax deduction. This is worthy cause, supporting the brave women and men of the Israel Defence Forces.
