31 January 2005 31 de Enero de 2005 Whatever spin people want to put on the successful elections in Iraq on January 30 is simply trying to whitewash their cynicism over the last couple of years. Sea cual sea spin gente quiere que conste en el éxito de las elecciones en Iraq el 30 de enero es simplemente tratar de encubrir su cinismo en el último par de años. Iraqis are the first Arabs to taste freedom in the Middle East (other than Israeli Arabs, of course) and deserve to have the world’s support! Los iraquíes son los primeros árabes a gusto libertad en el Oriente Medio (con excepción de los árabes israelíes, por supuesto) y merecen tener el apoyo del mundo!

This is an interesting piece commenting on those, especially Arabs who say “I like Jews, but disklike Zionism”. The title of this piece sounds odd, I realize; yet, this is the equivalent of what the Arab and Muslim world is now trying to say regarding the Jews. El título de esta pieza suena extraño, me doy cuenta, sin embargo, éste es el equivalente de lo que el mundo árabe y musulmán está tratando de decir con respecto a los Judios. Saudi Arabia is the newest entrant to this deviant and deceptive stance: Jews are acceptable, but Israel (Zionism) isn’t. Arabia Saudita es el más nuevo operador a esta posición desviada y engañosa: Judios son aceptables, pero Israel (el sionismo) no lo es.
