yea yea thank God* that hezbollah doesn’t have stronger weapons cause of course they aren’t responsible with them, unlike our favourite lovable friend Israel. yea Israel knows how to use their stealth bombers with the utmost care, specially how they constantly drop bombs on civilians and hospitals, but of course it’s by “accident”

p.s. i know you meant to type G-d cause you are an orthodox jew, strange how almost all the articles iv’e read that seem to be against Lebanon are usually by Jews, i’d love for a fresh perspective to come into play. but hey thats just me.

  2. Steve Says:

    1. I’m not an Orthodox Jew.

    2. I have nothing against Lebanon other than the fact that a terrorist organization whose stated goal is the destruction of Israel is operating from their territory. Lebanon has unfortunately been in the middle of many of the battles between Israel and the other Arab countries. Lebanon, relative to other Arab countries is quite progressive, that is, other than their apparent support of an international terror group.

    3. Of course it is an accident. Explain why it is in Israel’s best interest to kill civilians? When terror groups operate around civilian areas, they’re effectively using human shields, in the attempt to extract the maximum number of civilian casualties. If these terrorists were real men, they’d operate in the open so that Israel wouldn’t kill civilians.

By your comments, you appear to view Hezbollah in a positive light. Do you sympathize with them? If not, you could have fooled me.

  3. Carl Says:

Are you an idiot or just used to commenting like one. There’s no justification on either side, but Israel is in fact not this glorious state you claim them to be. For many years they have bullied the palestinians and are doing the same thing now. Lets not forget how this was all started. The kidnapping of SOLDIERS not civilians with demands for PRISONERS OF WAR in exchange. For Israel to come out bombing made it obvious that they wanted war as well with the intent to inflict as much damage to muslims as they possibly could even if there were civilians being killed. And for you to say that these “terrorist” (Hezbullah) are setting themselves in the mist of civilians for shielding is the most obsurd thing I’ve ever heard. These are the same people that will commit suicide while bombing their enemies. You appear to look at these people as animals to think the way you do concerning this matter. Understand that they have family and friends just as anyone else. And lets not forget that the good ol’ U S of A did much worse in Iraq (and many others in their own country). So before making comments like that humble yourself and pray for everyone over there as well yourself and your homeland.

    Peace.

  4. Wes Says:

When i wrote my comment i figured that you would first respond by saying that you are not an orthodox Jew, just to see if you truly are as manipulative as i think you are. And thank you very much you proved me right. I KNOW you’re jewish but i would have to believe you aren’t orthodox. So now that is cleared up i can begin. I originally did not support hezbollah seeing as how their original action was infact stupid, but as you said yourself you believe that they are using human shields to protect themselves. Kind of strange since Israel has killed only civilians in their aerial strikes, yet you’de think they would’ve hit a couple of hezbollah soldiers. Or maybe its that they knew israel would attack their homes so they decided to leave to avoid the deaths of their families. Clearly it did not stop Israel. It is in israel’s best interest to kill civilians because it will eventually start bringing in the lebanese army into the fight in which israel will then declare a full blown war against the entire country with no restrictions. O and im rather confused of why you would call them terrorists yet Israel has been the one that has killed over 100 civilians in Lebanon and the ones who killed the palistinians in order to take their land.

K i was reading some of the “facts” on this site and you kudos to the guys who made this website, me and my cousin are so impressed. We are of Hungarian descent, which is besides the point, and i should probably not be typing in this section, but we were both very impressed on how the guys who made this site never lie. Im not done yet, i mean this in also a bad way. Everypoint that is given is true but only 15% of the whole story is there. The 6 day war did end wih a victory for Israel, yet it was not by them. After the 4th day Israel was being crushed from all sides and could not handle the fighting any longer, until Israels best freind, you guessed it, the United States of America with prez lyndon decided to threaten Egypt with a nuke and promised the same fate to all of the other arab countires if they did not stop attacking Israel, and that how Israel “won” the fight.

And i couldn’t help but laugh at what wes said about the whole orthodox jew thing, im betting you are a jew but you nor orthodox yet you did not deny being a jew, just an orthodox jew. very very clever. :D

    Response to Carl (#3):
Am I an idiot? No, I’m not. Are you?

Carl, perhaps you didn’t know this, but kidnapping over an international border is an act of war, according to International Law. In my books, if you start a war, you should be prepared to finish it. The Arabs have started 5 wars (and hopefully this isn’t a 6th big war) already, and Israel has beaten them handily (with big losses of lives in 1948 and 1973).

Israel has been dealing with Hezbollah for many years. Of course, you don’t know the threat that Hezbollah has been to Israel, but they’ve routinely fired missiles into Israel over the last 10 years. Israel’s goal was to disable Hezbollah completely - to take out their capability of firing missiles into Israel’s sovereign territory. That innocent civilians were killed in the process is truly regrettable and I wish that their lives could be brought back. However, I don’t shed one tear for a person who lives by the sword (i.e. any member of Hezbollah).

I’m confused about your point “These are the same people that will commit suicide while bombing their enemies. You appear to look at these people as animals to think the way you do concerning this matter.” So, first you say that they commit suicide while bombing their enemies and then that I think of them as animals? I think that anybody that has so much hatred in their hearts that they are willing to commit suicide to see others die is very animal-like in behaviour.

And, as to your comment that Hezbollah “setting themselves in the mist of civilians for shielding is the most obsurd thing Ive ever heard” - obviously you are not very well read on the history of Hezbollah and other terror organizations. That they set themselves near civilians is a well known fact. Using human shields is a common tactic among terror groups, because, as Osama Bin Laden says “We love death. The US loves life. That is the difference between us two. To Islamic terrorists, death is a virtue.

Carl, you seem to be a well-meaning individual - whose side are you on? Are you really siding with Hezbollah on this issue? Sure seems like it.

  7. Steve Says:

“I KNOW youre jewish but i would have to believe you arent orthodox.”

You’re absolutely right. You’re a genious sleuth. But what’s your point?

“Israel has killed only civilians in their aerial strikes”

Where are you getting your information? Do you have high-level, classified information? What you apparently don’t understand is that Israel is not trying to kill people - they are trying to destroy infrastructure used to launch missiles into Israel! What’s the point of killing “hezbollah soldiers” if the missiles and infrastructure used to launch them is still in place?

“Or maybe its that they knew israel would attack their homes so they decided to leave to avoid the deaths of their families.”

Again, I’m not sure where you’re getting your information. Israel doesn’t make a habit of targetting homes unless they know that high-level Hezbollah operatives or commanders are working there.

“It is in israels best interest to kill civilians because it will eventually start bringing in the lebanese army into the fight in which israel will then declare a full blown war against the entire country with no restrictions.”

Actually, Israel has been demanding that the Lebanese army get involved and take control of their country for the last 6 years. Hezbollah has been operating freely from Lebanon since Israel withdrew. If the Lebanese army wants Israel to leave, all they have to do is to get rid of Hezbollah and remove the threat to their neighbour from their territory. That’s all Israel has asked, repeatedly, since they’re withdrawal in May 2000.

“im rather confused of why you would call them terrorists”

Let me give you the definition of the word terrorists, as defined by a UN panel in 2004: “intended to cause death or serious bodily harm to civilians or non-combatants with the purpose of intimidating a population or compelling a government or an international organization to do or abstain from doing any act.” (http://www.un.org/unifeed/script.asp?scriptId=73)

The keys here are intention and civilians. Hezbollah is intending to cause harm to civilians when they commit their acts. Israel, on the other hand, is intending only to destroy infrastructure that is used to propel missiles into Israel.

Don’t fool yourself - Hezbollah is just fighting a proxy war for Syria and Iran. If you think siding with Syria and Iran is a noble cause, that is your right to do so. However, don’t be surprised if non-conventional warfare is used in the near future. And I can guarantee you one thing - if Israel is hit with any non-conventional warfare, the nukes will come out.

  8. Steve Says:

    Response to Jamie (#5):

“Everypoint that is given is true but only 15% of the whole story is there.”

If you’re Hungarian, how do you know the “whole story”?

“After the 4th day Israel was being crushed from all sides”

Where are you getting your history from? Doesn’t sound like the 6 day war I know. 1973, however, was a different story - perhaps it’s that war that you’re referring to?

“And i couldnt help but laugh at what wes said about the whole orthodox jew thing”

I’m not sure why that’s even funny. I never claimed to be orthodox, so it’s not like he caught me in a lie.
