The Arab peple would have led the world if 50 years ago they had granted the Jews a state of their own. God has blessed their lands with incalculable riches. Their people were educated, passionate and eager to relive the glory days of Islam. Only one curse, the self inflicted curse of violence, has crippled them. From the beginning they have killed off many of their best and brightest and those they have not killed have certainly been silenced through intimidation. It is those who are strong and brutal who have led their society not those who are creative. Violence has stifled all innovation. But if 50 years ago the Arab nation had shown compassion and granted the Jews a state then every time an Arab individual would contemplate physically fighting his fellow they would think, “This fellow Arab is wrong but so were the Jews when they claimed our land. If on Jews I have once had compassion even if they are wrong then how can I raise a hand against my fellow Arab even if he is wrong?” And this dynamic would have taken place thousands perhaps even millons of times and it would have changed the Arab world. Can you imagine all the riches of oil plus a group of vibrant economies to utilize it run by people who are unafraid to compete with each other so that the best rise to the top. They would have led the world, respected by everyone instead of feared. The misery of countless wars would not have happened. All this if only they had had compassion on the Jews.
