Jew wins “Arab Nobel Prize”
April 26th, 2009
Now this is interesting. An American Jewish man, Ronald Levy, has become the first Jew win the King Faisal International Prize in Medicine, widely known as the “Arab Nobel Prize”. The dean of Stanford’s Medical School had asked Mr. Levy, a cancer researcher, for permission to submit his candidacy for the prize, but as an American Jew married to an Israeli, he didn’t think he had a shot. Interestingly, the Saudis treated him royally and were interested in what he thought of the country.
Saudi Arabia is widely thought to be the exporter of the most radical form of Islam to the world. Could this indicate that they’re changing? We’re not betting on it, but we’d like to hope that this is a step in the right direction!
Egyptian State TV Advises Boycotting Starbucks
April 25th, 2009
This is a ridiculous video shown on Egyption state TV, advising Egyptians boycott Starbucks. Why? You’ll be shocked because the reasoning is so stupid. Because, the idiot claims, that the symbol of Starbucks is Queen Esther, the Jewish Queen of Persia from thousands of years ago (the Purim story happened in 423 BCE). A little research shows that this claim is a) stupid and b) wrong. The symbol actually shows a two-tailed mermaid - I’m guessing that Queen Esther wasn’t a mermaid with two tails! Here’s the video:
The point is that these idiots will stop at nothing to harm Jews and America. I hope that most Egyptians could see through this crap, but as we know from Joseph Goebells (and the Arab media has taken this to heart) - “if you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it”. This is how they’ve stolen the decency from normal, decent Arabs. It’s sad, really.
Stupid Europeans Boycott Israel
April 25th, 2009
There are despicable boycotts of Israel going on in Europe. One that was pretty small in scale (seemed to only include a handful of demonstrators) was in Wales at Tescos and resulted in the arrest of the perpetrators.
These dummies claim that the settlements are illegal under the Geneva conventions - they’re sadly mistaken. We’ve said time and time again that this is patently false - the Geneva conventions don’t apply to the Israelis and the Palestinians. The controllers of the land for hundreds of years were the Ottomans, who were Muslim, but not Arabs. They were replaced by the Brits after World War One. In 1948, after the first Israel-Arab war, Jordan took control of the West Bank, Egypt took control of Gaza. Palestine never existed as a country! Israel “annexed” the West Bank and Gaza from Egypt and Jordan (who weren’t the rightful “owners” of the land either) after the 1967 war, begun by the Arabs (via daily threats of attack). In 1979, Egypt relinquished its claim to Gaza, and in 1994, Jordan relinquished it’s claim to the West Bank. So, in essense, the idiots in these videos have no clue what they’re talking about. Also, what they’re doing is illegal, which is funny, since they’re complaining that Israel is undertaking illegal activities!
The funniest part about this video is that the woman assumes that since the product comes from the West Bank, it must be from a settlement. She’s being racist herself - she believes that Arabs are not capable of producing goods for the Welsh market!
The next one is worse. It happened in France in March. Somehow, this group of idiots took over a French supermarket and began apparently throwing out merchandise from Israel. While it’s not clear that they actually disposed of the material, it’s quite disturbing that a group of people could cause such a disturbance in a supermarket and not have any type of confrontation with the police. Where are the police??
