5. Maps: Israel does not exist. Its place is marked - "Palestine."
The Palestinian Authority school books use a map of the Middle East in which
Israel does not exist and is replaced in its entirety by a state called
"Palestine". The "New Atlas of the Arab Homeland and of the
World for all the Grades" #P- GG-049-98, privately published in Nablus in
the Palestinian Autonomy, is approved by the PA for use in the Palestinian
Schools.

25. Israel does not Exist on Syrian Maps There are numerous
maps of Syria and the Arab world in the Syrian textbooks, especially geography
textbooks. None of them shows the State of Israel, even within its pre-1967
borders. The whole country is named "Palestine". Following are
