Random Fact

This was not the only effect Israeli rule had on the Palestinian education system and the Palestinian people. Before 1967 the percentage of illiterates on average had been 27.8% among men and among women even higher at 65.1%. By 1983 Israel had helped reduce illiteracy to only 13.5% among men and 38.9% among women.

dude (or are you a group of people)? your site has some great info,

Thanks!

however, I would recommend a few things to help you: 1) i think it's great you reply to people who write opinions and arguments (both pro and con, regardless of facts)... however your site itself is rarely updated.. isn't there anyway you can add more quotes and pictures?

I try to keep it as up-to-date as possible.  If you'd like to submit quotes, please send it to me as feedback.  If you have pictures, please contact me through the feedback mechanism and I'll let you know how you can send them to me.

as the palestinians (along with leftwing media) have proved.. a picture is worth a thousand words...

You are right...

2) Although this site is very nicely laid out, something seems to be 'missing' that makes it different from all the "professional" sites... i deeply suggest viewing all the other "professional" (those being the actual charity type sites such as Camera, Memri, Aipac and Jewish virtual library all of which have countless great documents concerning israel).. i think such a move (although i can't personally pinpoint what stops this site from being that.. theres something though..) would immensly help this site benefit.

I agree - I don't know what the difference is exactly either.  I always strive to improve the site, so keep an eye out for a better looking site in the future.

3) Except for places mentioned above, where else (if possible a lot of other places) would you recommend visiting? i visit those regularly, as well as links on them, and i've seen parts of the webhub your in but only seem to find "more of the same" which is great.. but anyone out there searching for truth should always be trying to find more, rather than reinforcing what is already known... so what would you recommend? (mostly in the form of the type of sites mentioned above if possible)...

Please look at my links page.  Debkafile.com and stratfor.com will give you some very interesting information.

 4) What is your opinion of "Shalom Achshav" (Peace now)... i'm very aware that your view is EXTREMELY different to theirs (as is mine) but what do you think are the main flaws they have (keeping in mind they spend a heck of a lot of time doing reaserch similar to what you and I do).

They're stuck in the old days where peace with the Arabs was thought to be possible with concessions.  How do you make peace with a people that want to destroy you?  Peace now is in a dreamworld...

5) What is your personal view of a solution to the conflict..

Unfortunately, I don't think diplomacy is going to change a thing.  Perhaps if Arafat's successor has a totally different outlook (don't hold your breath) then the story will be different.  Yasser Arafat is a terrorist through and through - he terrorized Jordan in the early 1970s, Lebanon in the late 1970s and is back at his game in the 1990's and 2000s.  Like they say - "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" - terrorism is all Arafat knows.

i realse that in a more perfect world the Arab governments would let go of their oppression and educate their people to the truth rather than nationalisic slogans.. but since they don't we're left with a problem... what would you do?

Well, you've hit the nail on the head.  There will never be peace until the Arab governments stop oppressing their people.  Like Golda Meir said "There will be peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews".  Her words still ring true today -  if Arabs really cared about the prosperity of the next generation, then they would work to change themselves and stop looking for a scapegoat in Israel.

theoretically Israel could "reoccupy" Palestinian cities.. but that doesn't really solve much except a very short term upping in security... although it would hurt the israeli economy hard and the army would take true losses... so whats your opinion?

I agree - it's probably not a wise decision for various reasons.  Israel doesn't want to reoccupy the areas - they just want to get rid of terrorism.

I have my own never you fear, but writing mine would take up too much space :)

Well, I'd be interested to hear, if you'd like to send me feedback about it, I'd be happy to hear!

Keep up the work and please take my ideas into serious consideration since both of us have a similar goal... to present as many facts as (and probably as, if not more importantly) possible in the best way possible

Please help me towards this goal!  I'll accept help from anybody that's willing to help!
